Manual welding machine for the heating element butt welding of PE, PP and PVDF tubes and fittings from OD 630 up to OD 1200 mm. The two machine slides hydraulically move on a longitudinal axis and on linear prismatic guideways. The mounted main clamping tools have diameters of 1200mm. The clamping tools are opened and closed by hydraulic cylinders. The clamping tools are swivelling up to 22,5° on both sides to produce segmented arches and both are movable on threaded spindles in a lateral axis to compensate diameter tolerances.
The electric planer (380V/ca. 3KW) has a chain drive in a closed aluminium housing and an automatic chip removal. The planer hydraulically moves in and out. The heating element ( 380V/ 32KW ) is anti-stick coated, has an electronic temperature control system and hydraulically moves in and out as well. Heating element and planer are mounted sidewards on two linear prismatic guideways moved by sliders. To put in or to take out the pipes is very simple because the starting position of heating element and planer is outside the welding area.
