Plastic welding machine for heating element socket welding of PE, PP and PVDF tubes and fittings from OD 63 up to OD 160 resp. 4" to 6". The welding machine is mounted on a solid frame. The motion of the slides is controlled by a rack-and-pinion mechanism. Due to the steplessly adjustable prismatic clamping tools, all outside diameters can be fixed. On the pipe side there is a double prism, on the fitting side an insertion stop. The insertion depth is secured by a turning button depending on the diameters. Both sides can be aligned in the axial plane for the adjustment of the parts to be welded. The positioning is made by means of an insertion stop.
The socket heating element (230 V/3000 W) including holder which can be swivelled in is built on the machine. In connection with a table locking device it can be removed from the holder and used as a hand heating element. With ON/OFF switch, electronical adjustment and control of the temperature in accordance with DVS 2208.
