The MINIPLAST 2 is a plastic welding machine for heating element butt welding of PE, PP and PVDF tubes and fittings from OD 20 up to OD 110 mm. The basic machine has two large aluminium basic clamping tools, swivelling up to 15° on each side for the fabrication of segmented bends. By screwing in four narrow reducer inserts, a double clamping for all diameters is obtained.
For fittings with short legs, a small fitting clamping tool is available. Due to the special construction of the pressure build-up device, the machine can be fixed directly at very short pipe ends on walls and sheets. The light and compact construction as well as the horizontal and vertical adjustment (for exact alignment of the pipe ends upon fabrication of segmented bends and t-pieces) qualifies the machine extremely well for operations in the pipeline system and for installation work.
In case of stationary use, the machine can be fixed in the vice or on a table support. The light and compact manual planer is operated by means of a ratchet.
