- Cancelation of license contracts and further agreements between the FLIZ association and WIDOS
Please be informed that with immediate effect all agreements between the FLIZ association and WIDOS have been canceled as of 31st December 2009 by mutual consent. The production and sales for the FLIZ tools and the licenses are again exclusively in the responsibility of the FLIZ association.
WIDOS has returned all remaining tools and articles to the FLIZ association and is going to pass on each inquiry with regard to such tools directly to the FLIZ association.

- Maintenance of WIDOS plastic welding machines according to DVS rule 2208 T1
According to the DVS (German Welding Association) it is very recommendable to have your plastic welding equipment maintained and checked by WIDOS once a year.
"Excerpt from DVS rule 2208 T1 chapter 5.6:
According to the manufacturer's indication, however at least once a year, a maintenance of the welding equipment is to be carried out by qualified personnel with the necessary experience and prove of being qualified by the respective manufacturer..."
