The WIDOS sheet welding machines, model range PSM 10 / 15 / 20 are characterized by solid, simple and compact construction. An extensive range of options may be optimally adapted to the processing of the most different types of sheets.
The construction of the basic versions allows the processing of sheets up to a thickness of 20 mm and is only limited by the available welding forces of 300 daN for the manual version or 590 daN for the hydraulic version. The force application is done via hand wheel with spring force scale for the small types PSM 10 / 15 or hydraulically with pressure display for the PSM 20. The clamping of the workpieces is done manually via spindles or quick-clamping lever in the basic version and may be upgraded optionally to pneumatic system with foot switches. The special friction surfaces of the clamping tools allow the minimization of the needed clamping force in order that no marks may be visible at the workpieces.
The torsion-free heating elements in optimized construction with regard to weight are manually lifted between the welding pieces from below. The use of electronic regulators, light metals with good heat conductivity and a high-quality anti-stick coating enables ideal temperature profiles and prevents sticking of the melt.
The machines would not be from WIDOS if they did not offer a variety of options in order to support different applications or even to enable them at all. Already the basic version enables the use of the clamping beams as holding device for vertical weldings by easy replacement of the machine side without further special tools.
Another manual version simplifies the processing of twin-wall panels thus far that an easy-to-operate but multi-level force limitation automatically provides the right welding forces for standard sizes.
A special feature provides versions with continuously swinging clamping tables. This device allows the welding of sheets in segmented manner which e.g. enables continuous angle profiles. This configuration is also ideal for the processing of panels whose twin-wall structure is automatically sealed by the segmented welding and thus returns to become a supporting element again. The setting of several standard angles is facilitated by simple supports, independently hereof, it is possible to adjust and lock all other angles continuously up to 45° on each side.
And if this is still not enough, you may get the machine also in Fahrenheit and lbs scale or in another color.
All following the motto: Solid – most simple handling – high efficiency!
