WELDING TECHNOLOGY

Plastic welding welding methods

Five welding methods in perfection – that is our standard. Our broad product range comprises the welding methods butt, socket, electro socket, infrared and friction welding with excellent pipe connection techology.

Plastic welding machine building site butt welding

Butt welding

The category heating element butt welding comprises all welding methods where plastics are frontally heated up by means of an anti-stick coated heating plate. This welding method works up to a temperature of approx. 270°C and is the oldest known technology.

Plastic welding machine workshop socket welding

Socket welding

The category heating element socket welding comprises all welding methods where plastics are radially heated up by means of an anti-stick coated heating plate. This welding method works up to a temperature of approx. 270°C and has been used for a long time in different areas.

Plastic welding machine building site electro socket welding

Electro socket welding

The category electro socket welding comprises all welding methods where special sockets with incorporated heating wires are heated up electronically and melted into the pipe. The welding is carried out automatically, programmed-controlled, handling is easy. It is favorable for connections in narrow places. The electro socket welding is predominantly used for pipings with few fittings.

Plastic welding machine workshop infrared welding

Infrared welding

The category infrared welding comprises all welding methods where plastics are heated up without contact to the heating plate. This welding method works up to a temperature of approx. 600°C and can be used for butt and socket welding.

Plastic welding machine friction welding

Friction welding

The category rotation friction welding comprises all welding methods where the plastics are heated up under pressure by means of rotating friction. This welding method works without heating element, is ideally suited for short cycle times and can be used for butt or socket welding.

The category vibration friction welding comprises all welding methods where the plastics are heated up under pressure by means of swinging friction. This welding method works without heating element, is ideally suited for short cycle times and can be used for butt or socket welding.
